Meals & Allergies

Q. How do you care for kids with food allergies?

A. We take food allergies very seriously and work with you to create a safe eating environment . Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions when enrolling. All meals and snacks are provided by parents to ensure food safety. There are occasions in which I will provide a snack or we might be doing a cooking/baking activity, I take precautions to carefully read labels myself and get parent permission before hand. When we do have a child with food allergies enrolled we stick to assign seating at meal times and I take extra precautions to keep each space sanitary and safe. I am also trained and Certified to provide emergency care and give medications in an emergency situation through Code One and the American Red Cross.

Enrollments and Payments

Q. How do I enroll my child?

A. Our spots are highly sought after and often fill up months in advance. The best way to enroll is to schedule a tour and meet with us in person. If you decide Roots & Wings Childcare is the right fit for your child, we’ll add you to our waitlist at no cost.

Before adding families to our waitlist, we like to ensure serious interest and a good mutual fit. Once a spot becomes available, we’ll reach out to you. To secure your child’s enrollment, we require a non-refundable two-week security deposit. However, when it’s time for your child to transition out of our program, this deposit will be applied to your final two weeks of care, provided you give at least one month’s notice.

While occasional colds and illnesses are unavoidable, our small group size and strict health policies help minimize the spread of sickness.
